Shade and windbreak netting

Shade netting and windbreak netting are used to protect crops from strong winds and from the sun. The nets are made of HDPE. This is a high-density polyethylene. The windbreak and shade nets are resistant to UV radiation due the additives that are added to obtain a desirable KLY value. The KLY value is a determination of how the nets are protected and largely determines the lifespan of the shade and windbreak nets.

Gradations

The wind- and shade nets are available in different grades: 30% closed, 50% closed and 80% closed. Windbreak netting and Shade netting can be supplied on request. Lengths and widths can be adjusted in our own atelier.

Wind protection

With windbreak mesh, you are protected against the influence of wind. It offers a solution against the wind, especially in open landscapes. Windbreak netting also offers a solution if you have problems with flattened crops, broken branches, damaged leaves, rough fruit or sand that has been blown away.

Sun protection

Shade nets can be a solution for plants that prefer shade. Shade nets are the solution for leaf and fruit burns.
