Very good news for the protection of fruit from insects in the Netherlands

At the request of the Dutch Fruit Growers Organization (NFO), the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) has placed investments in insect netting in fruit cultivaiton, including support construction, on the MIA/Vamil list. It concerns 13,5% MIA and 75% Vamil subsidy.

As a result, investments in insect net (including support material) are fiscally supported. Suzukinet in the open air in fruit growing has been added to these environmental lists because insect nets can reduce damage to the fruit by insects. And even the spread of chemicals can be reduced. It concers only mesh with a maximum mesh size of 0.98 square millimeter.
