Guarantee

The guarantee of the Carmo woodenpoles is 20 years. This means that if the pole is rotten it is always reimbursed. Carmo Wood can give that 20 years guarantee because they know how good the quality is from their poles.

FCBA

The quality mark FCBA, that is because the independent organisation supervises the quality of the poles, that means that the guideline is that class 4 wood at least has been treated with 15L Tanalith per m3 wood. Our Carmo poles are treated with 28 kilo per m3.

Tanalith 8001

The biggest difference is the dampness. The Carmo wooden poles are treated when the dampness is between the 18% and the 20%. The poles are treated with Tanalith 8001. This cure consist een additive against moulds who are copper resistant. There are many types Tanalith but no one has a additive against those moulds. This is why we choose for Tanalith 8001. When you see the colour of the poles you can see that more Tanalith is used.
